How Hound Dog Search handles your data

Back to search

Overview

Hound Dog Search is a specialized search engine built on Google dorking techniques. We collect the minimum data needed to run your account, power AI-assisted search, and process paid plans. This policy describes what we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

  • Account info: your email address and a hashed password when you register. We never see or store your password in plain text.
  • Search activity: the goals and dork queries you enter, and any queries you choose to save to your account.
  • Usage analytics: aggregated counts of which search operators are used, to improve the operator library. No personally identifying query content is tied to these counts.
  • Payment info: subscriptions and credit purchases are processed by our payment provider (Base44 Payments / Wix). We store your plan and credit balance, but card details are handled entirely by the payment processor and never touch our servers.

How we use it

  • To authenticate you and keep your saved queries private to your account.
  • To run AI-assisted search suggestions and deep-crawl research you request.
  • To enforce your subscription tier and monthly search-credit quota.
  • To improve and maintain the operator library and app reliability.

Data retention & deletion

Your saved queries stay on your account until you delete them. You can permanently delete your account and associated search data at any time from your Profile page (Delete account). Deletion is irreversible.
